Why should I become a member? PCU is a membership organization. It is composed of members who made the decision to invest their money in a financial institution that follows a code of ethics rather than the common investment practice of only considering a bottom line. How do I become a member? To become a member of the PCU you need to open an account. The minimum dollar amount required to open an account is $55. This includes $5.00 for a one-time membership fee and $50.00 to open your share/savings account. The $50 is your required minimum balance and will be returned to you if you close the account. The share account will accrue interest dividends as long as the balance in the account is $50 or greater. More about PCU membership: How do I open an account at PCU?
